Made a silly little mistake on my second guess after getting Yellow easily. Purple wasn’t too tough (even though it #JustHappened for me). My clue for you today for that category: Shhh, the baby is sleeping.

My starting word of ROATE did a lot of hard work in my opening guess today, which paved the way to a solve in 3 guesses. I could see where some may get stuck in a rabbit hole if you’re not careful, so I would recommend using the letter “S” as soon as you can. No other hints from there; you should do fine on what was a pretty simple solution.

Hey hey! Not too bad on my least favorite game of the bunch. I did need my usual one hint to get me on the right track, but from there it was smooth sailing. However, there was a pesky word on the lower left of the board that I needed multiple tries to sound out, but we eventually got there. My hint for you: movies in space.

What’s in the News?

I’m not sure how many people actually read this section of the newsletter, but it might be my favorite part to write.

Obviously the talk of the town for the last week has been STOCKS; however, it appears we may be in for a higher opening today (relatively speaking). Those of us who would like to retire at some point in our lives are looking forward to seeing a positive trend for once; something that apparently comes at a premium these days.

Look: I’m not sure when the “Great” things this administration promised will come to fruition — but I’m not holding my breath. The guy’s a moron, plain and simple, and he’s surrounded himself with perhaps the only people dumber than him. That alone would be impressive if it wasn’t so damn disheartening.

For those of us who didn’t vote for this fool: we just have to keep on keeping on. If I’ve learned anything in life it’s that the bad guys never win in the end and smarter folks will prevail… eventually. Until then, thanks for stopping by to read and/or watch our video updates every day. Hopefully they’ve proven to be a helpful distraction.
